There are situations in which you may need to monitor the complete computer activity. Perhaps you have children who use the computer and the Internet and you want to know what exactly they are doing on the computer. Or maybe you are the CEO of a company, wanting to monitor your employees, for making sure that they do their work instead of wasting time. In all these situations, a spy program would be the answer. I am talking about an application who runs hidden from the user and monitors every activity performed by the user of a computer, pressed keys, visited websites, IM conversations, launched programs and so on.

One of the programs that can offer you this is SpyPal. This simple Windows program can monitor all the aspects of computer activity, without the user even noticing this. After installing the application using its simple installer, one needs to set a master password for the program. This password will be used for accessing its configuration. After completing this step, the user can press a key combination for bringing up the program's main interface. The interface includes several graphical icons, which allow the user to access all the program's features.

Each icon is intuitive and simple to access. SpyPal can automatically take desktop screenshots, can monitor all the keys pressed, can display browsed web pages and so on. Optionally, one can set the program to automatically send him an email with all the monitored data, from time to time. In this way, he won't need to have physical access to the computer for viewing captured information. All the information recorded can be exported as a log file, for being analyzed later on.

Using the configuration window, one can modify the key combination for bringing up the main interface and can also customize the quality of the screenshots.

Pros

It features numerous tools for recording the complete computer activity. Besides that, the main interface of the program can only be accessed by using a key combination. Furthermore, a password can be used for accessing the program's interface. What's more, the program can be set to automatically send report emails from time to time.

Cons

There is no way to access the interface of the program in case the password is forgotten. Besides that, the demo version displays a watermark on the screen while the monitoring is active. SpyPal can monitor all the aspects of the computer activity, allowing you to see in detail exactly what a user does on his computer.
